The Road To Success...

This is a picture i'm using to vent my frustration. The full title is 'The Road to Success is Forged Through Sacrifice)
It is inspired greatly by 's picture, which is a beautiful piece i command you to go look at it now.

I'll just explain it's points now (though they're about as subtle as a sniper rifle to the face). Firstly I'll point out the fact that TEE is the final year exams we have in High school (in my state anyway) It's mostly your basic exam system, but it's given a twist with scaling and a magical number they invent called the TER, all of which somehow gets you into (or disallows your entrance into) University. The people who make the process infinetaly more difficult is the curriculum council, those wonderful people who sit around a long table in semi dark laughing evilly and writing long worded documents that students and teachers are meant to follow but actually mean nothing (totally longest sentence ever). The curriculum council is represented by the pencil, handily labled curriculum.
Now onto imagery, what a wonderful word, i just wrote my Lit exam, i would like to rip that word to shreds and erase its existance from the face of the planets. Anyway, the basic thing as that the student (middle) is being crucified on the TEE paper, just like Jesus on his cross (and all those other criminals who were also crucified but are ignored cause they couldn't come back from the dead). To back up the Jesus thang, i've got the whole thing about him being stabbed in the side with a spear when the Roman's were taunting him, this is being done to the students by the curriculum council. I also added, though its probably hard to see, a little crown of thorns, cept this ones made of plus and minus symbols to represent at once, math, chemistry, physics, and scaling. Finally the point of raising jesus in the picture is to create the idea that us students, like jesus are sacrificing ourselves (at the hands of a cruel system). The difference being that jesus sacrificed himself to save humanity, we sacrificed ourselves to get into uni, which one is more selfless, you tell me.
