Okay, it's not really photojournalism, though i suppose it could have some sort of meaning in terms of the impact of war on society and the lasting impression of the loss of so many lives. I was wondering around Kings Park at about 5:45 AM, just before dawn, with a camera looking for shots to take (I'm not totally insane, I did have a gym session at 6 and I didn't just happen to be there at 5 in the morning). Yeah, so...I like the lighting and the scene set up with the memorial, and tried a number of times to capture it, but i needed a tripod and a better camera. For one, it's too grainy, really i should've dropped the ISO a lot and used a slower shutter speed, but the situation didn't really allow this (no tripod). Still, I like the shot so i decided to put it up and see what you all think. Perth can be suprisingly pretty at that time of morning (and at night too), I got some of the city as well which i may put up. Enjoy, comment, dont leave the picture unloved and abandoned.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
