anyways, the entire reason for the journal:
MANGA STUFFS!
A note, that's kinda old at the moment, I now have all of Fruits Basket (manga cause the anime is fail). Except that I don't. Cause Rachael stole 1-5 and hasn't given it back (Despite assurances that she would and my own expressed concern that I must get them back). Not worried, but I was looking forward to looking up and actually seeing a complete collection. Meh.
Also, Beserk. The Manga. Yeah, you know a story is violent and dark when the terribly gory and horribly violent ending of the anime (which was the worst I'd seen yet in anime and was...brutal) was tame in comparision to the rest of the anime. Yeah, that says something. Also, I was kinda annoyed, the anime follows the story of Griffith and Gutts after their meeting and before the betrayal. The tragic turn of events is subtly hinted at at the start of the anime, to the point that you wouldn't actually pick up on it if you didn't know the ending (or say, had an incredibly good memory). In the anime they all but say what's going to happen. It was the third-ish time I'd seen what was coming, so maybe I wouldn't've picked up on it as much at the beginning, but really, I think I would've. It wasn't exactly hidden. I mean, still a big impact and still terrible, but you read it knowing something terrible will happen.
I was happy to see where the story went from the Eclipse (the terrible cliffhanger of the anime), and am enjoying the story. I thoroughly recommend that you read it if you don't mind plenty of nudity and extreme gore, and don't have to read it in sight of a parent (cause that'd be awkward to explain, trust me).
Guts is a strange and awesome character. Beyond the standard *rarswingbigsword* *rarswingbigswordsomemore* that probably makes people look at the series initially. He's an odd character, he's like a fairly friendly and cheerful person, when you know, he's not going through hell (literally). It's like he would've been a happy person given better circumstances, but then there's noone with worse circumstances, so the angst is a little more forgiveable.
anyways, none of this is actually the reason I started writing this (wow, I got sidetracked easy)

One Piece:
HOLY FREAKING GOD! Seriously, that's an awesome spoiler! ...Fuckit I'm gonna say it, stop reading if you don't wanna know yet. Ace's Father is Gold D Roger! Which means that Luffy and Ace are not even remotely blood related (depending on Garp...I have no idea what his relation is either). Ace's Dad being Gold and his mother having died at his birth (and Luffy being younge), so yeah, not blood related. So they're brothers from having been raised together (I assume). Damn, I really want to know more of these peoples back stories. Also, that family is hilariously accursed. I mean, seriously: Gold D Roger: Bounty unbelievable, Dragon D Luffy: Bounty unbelievable (And considered one of the most dangerous men alive), Monkey D Luffy: No idea what his bounty is at the moment, but he's successfully taken out two of the Marine's powerbases, declared war on the world government (multiple times), taken out two shichi bukai (and seduced another), and well...just generally fucked them over, Portgas D Ace: bounty high enough to earn you a place among the shichi bukai, Portgas D Rouge: Woman capable of bearing a child for 20 months (totally deserved an entry), Garp D Luffy (guessing his name randomly): Among the highest ranked Marines (but not one of the holy three). Yeah, freaking awesome family. And hell, we haven't even met luffy's mother. and the other grandparents.

also for some reason all the Pirate Gods are like twice the height of a normal man.

Naruto:
...Danzou can kill things, whoo.
Kakashi can jump out of bushes at perverts and scare the crap out of them.
Konohakagure or whatever his name is can do stuff...
as Gabzilla nicely pointed out, lol no one loves Sakura at all. (she got left behind).
Gaara is pure awesome....he didn't even do anything, he just is.

Bleach:
Suprise suprise they can easily kill things that are weaker the Ichigo. Why did they try and make this seem awesome. Sheesh. Though I like them, and their techniques are awesome. For instance, ripping one in half with their bear hands (intentional). and shielding their faces off.

Fairy Tail:
Stuff happened. Lucy has to try and be useful (and fails).
But if she wins this, which she probably will, what with being a main character and all, she will start to really kick ass, seriously she'll gain loads of awesome Stella Spirits.

Still No Air Gear. I want my freaking jet plains.
Also, lol he fell off a plain and was fine and still hasn't touched the grounds (I think), though I'm not actually sure that would get him out, the rules were if he used his parachute.
